Resona Lite is designed to work offline. Your music is generated directly on your device. No account is required, and the app does not require a connection to our servers.
This policy is for Resona Lite only. If you are using the Resona app, please refer to the Resona privacy policy instead.
This Privacy Policy explains how Resona Lite ("the App"), operated by 北京聚缘琴科技有限公司 Beijing Juyuanqin Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
Resona Lite does not require users to provide personal information to access its features.
The App does not implement user accounts, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics services. We do not collect personal information through the App's core functionality.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
Certain information is stored locally to support the App's functionality and user preferences. This may include:
- Your selected application language.
- Whether you have completed the introductory tutorial.
- Locally saved display preferences, such as the last selected home-screen quote.
- Temporary playback settings, sound configuration, and sleep timer state during your app session.
This information is processed on your device. It is not transmitted to our servers. Some temporary session information is cleared when the App closes.
3. Audio Generation and Processing
Resona Lite generates ambient music, soundscapes, noise, and chord progressions using local audio processing technologies.
The App includes a locally bundled audio engine and chord-generation model. These features operate without sending your audio preferences or generated sounds to external servers.
Resona Lite does not require access to your microphone and does not record your conversations or surrounding audio.
4. Network Access
Resona Lite's core music generation and playback functionality operates offline.
The App does not require a backend account, remote audio streaming service, or internet connection to generate and play music.
Your device's operating system and app distribution platform may independently use network services for functions such as application downloads, updates, and diagnostics. Those activities are subject to the relevant provider's privacy policies.
5. Third-Party Services
Resona Lite uses software frameworks and libraries, including React Native and Expo, to provide its functionality.
Based on the App's current implementation, these components are not used to provide advertising, behavioral tracking, or remote analytics services.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information collected through the App with advertisers or data brokers.
6. Notifications and Playback Controls
Resona Lite may use device operating-system features such as iOS Live Activities, lock-screen controls, and Android media notifications to display playback status and allow playback control.
These features operate through the device's native system functionality. The App does not require a remote push notification service to operate its playback controls.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored preferences remain on your device until they are changed or deleted.
You can generally remove the App's locally stored data by deleting the App from your device. Device backups may retain copies according to your operating-system settings.
As the App does not provide user accounts or cloud storage, there is no Resona Lite cloud account to delete.
8. Children's Privacy
Resona Lite does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users through its core functionality.
The App does not require registration, personal profiles, or access to a user's contacts or precise location.
9. Data Security
Resona Lite is designed to minimize data collection by keeping music generation and application preferences on the user's device.
Local information is subject to the security protections provided by your device and operating system.
10. International Data Transfers
Resona Lite does not transmit personal information to our servers as part of its core functionality.
Therefore, we do not operate an international transfer of personal information through the App's core features.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, applicable laws, or our privacy practices.
When changes are made, we will update the effective date displayed at the top of this policy.
